Privacy policy
Your information should have clear boundaries.
Effective July 16, 2026. This policy describes the categories of information InjuryIndex processes and the choices available to users.
Information we collect
We process account details, lawyer profile information, consultation request details, subscription records, and product-usage data. Payment card information is handled by Stripe and is not stored by InjuryIndex.
How information is used
We use information to operate the directory, deliver consultation requests to the lawyer selected by a user, verify professional profiles, secure accounts, process subscriptions, improve product performance, and comply with law.
Consultation requests
A request is shared with the specific lawyer or firm a user chooses. Sending a request does not create an attorney-client relationship. Users should avoid including privileged or highly sensitive medical information in an initial message.
Choices and requests
Users may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing privacy@injuryindex.com. Some information may be retained where required for security, billing, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
Service providers
InjuryIndex uses infrastructure and service providers, including Vercel, Neon, and Stripe, to host the service, store data, and process payments. Their handling of information is governed by contract and their applicable privacy terms.
